Billy Osborne is an Assistant Director within the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) – Post-Award. In this role, he supervises and trains post-award staff who support designated schools and colleges within the University of Illinois Chicago. He serves as a liaison for sponsored programs activities, ensuring compliance with sponsor and university regulations, and contributes to policy development, process improvements and university-wide training initiatives. Prior to joining UIC, Billy worked at Seminole State College of Florida as the Coordinator of Grants Support & Effectiveness and Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Resource & Economic Development. He holds a Master of Research Administration degree from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
