The Department of Defense (DOD) has released its Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the FY 2026 Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI). This prestigious program supports revolutionary, interdisciplinary research projects at U.S. universities that will help advance defense-related science and technology. Join us for an in-depth discussion about the MURI program, the FY 2026 solicitation topics and the opportunities available to researchers in the defense sector.
In this live webinar, Lewis-Burke Associates LLC will be providing expert guidance on the MURI funding process. Our speakers from Lewis Burke, Amber Cassady and Solomon Morgan, will discuss key components of the solicitation, highlight important topics of interest across Army, Navy and Air Force basic research offices, and provide insights on crafting competitive proposals. The presentation will be followed by a Q/A session.

While not required, prospective awardees are strongly encouraged to submit white papers before 5:00 PM ET on May 2, 2025. Full proposals are due on September 5, 2025, by 5:00 PM ET.
