Public Policy
The regulation and impact of data on researchers and society are profound. As the government revises and creates data policy for research, the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications will impact everyone. The OVCR is interested in encouraging fair and equitable research to help solve a wide range of challenges: societal, health, financial, and ensuring opportunities are available to all. We have submitted comments to government RFI’s and will continue to monitor data policy and how it impacts the UIC research community.
