Title: Two Graduate Research Assistants and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience Research and Cancer Research

Description:

We are looking for two motivated graduate research assistants and a postdoctoral fellow with an interest in imaging brain and imaging tumor. Prior research experience is a plus. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team. Our lab is for people who are looking for a rich scientific atmosphere full of different expertise to complete translational research.

 

Duties:

  1. Graduate Research Assistant in Neuroscience Research: The applicant studies the brain functional activity in a small animal brain using a multimodality imaging system (more details will be discussed during the interview). This student works in a multidisciplinary environment: Engineering, Biology, and Neurology. Students with a good understanding of brain biology and strong programming background are highly encouraged to apply. Having prior experience with optical imaging instrumentation is a plus. Proficiency in Matlab is necessary.

 

  1. Graduate Research Assistant in Cancer Research: The applicant studies the detailed principle of tumor tissue using a multimodality imaging system (more details will be discussed during the interview). This student works in a multidisciplinary environment: Engineering, Biology, and Oncology. Students with good training in biology and strong programming background are highly encouraged to apply. Having prior experience with optical imaging instrumentation is a plus.

 

  1. Postdoctoral Fellow in Deep Learning and Machine Learning: The applicant will develop a diagnosis method for Cervical Tumor using a machine learning-based algorithm that uses the images of a non-invasive imagining modality (more details will be discussed during the interview). Using a very large database and a suitable learning method, we hope to devise a powerful diagnostic method.
