Dear Colleagues,

The annual Report of Non-University Activities (RNUA) process begins on Monday, September 21, 2020.  UIC academic staff are required to make a full disclosure of all non-University activities, affiliations and appointments that will occur over the academic year August 16, 2020 to August 15, 2021 and retrospective reporting for activities that occurred from August 16, 2019 to August 15, 2020. Please submit your RNUA disclosure by going to START myDisclosures.  You must submit your RNUA disclosure by Monday, October 12, 2020.

The OVCR has issued guidance for disclosures on the Report of Non-University Activities (RNUA), you are reminded to review the guidance before completing the RNUA.

RNUA online training sessions are being offered to assist academic staff, unit executive officers and business managers/facilitators that administer the RNUA review.

Academic staff that serve as investigators on projects sponsored by the Public Health Services (PHS), Department of Health and Human Service, National Institutes for Health and sponsors that have adopted the PHS regulations are reminded that they are required to submit annual disclosures regarding significant financial interests and sponsored or reimbursed travel.  Please review your Sponsor Specific Questionnaire in START myDisclosures.  Sponsor Specific Questionnaire disclosures expire 12 months after date of submission.  If your Sponsor Specific disclosure will expire soon or has expired, you will need to submit a new Sponsor Specific Questionnaire to be compliant with federal regulations and University policies.
