SUMMARY:National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) Strategic Directions
DESCRIPTION:With federal Fiscal Year 2022 appropriations finalized earlier this Spring and active discussions for Fiscal Year 2023 ongoing, many federal agencies are articulating their priorities for research funding for the next few years. During this presentation, representatives from federal relations firm Lewis-Burke Associates, LLC will provide an overview of relevant news from Washington, D.C., including the Administration and Congress, as well as insights on current and future priorities at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other agencies across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The presentation is intended to provide insights into new and existing funding opportunities for early to mid-career faculty looking to learn more about how to find grants from federal health agencies. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation, and faculty can also engage directly with Lewis-Burke following this event. Speakers Eve Granatosky ? Principal at Lewis-Burke Associates Andrew Herrin ? Associate at Lewis-Burke Associates | Event post: https://research.uic.edu/events?page_id=25544
