You’ve heard of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and likely associate it with high-impact health research funding opportunities, but what does RWJF really fund, and how can you position your work to be competitive for these high-profile requests for proposals? In this brown bag lunch webinar hosted by the UIC Office of Research Development, staff from the UIC Corporate and Foundation Relations team will discuss the history of RWJF, provide examples of funded projects and explore what RWJF’s increased focus on health equity means for faculty and institutions. This presentation will assist research faculty from the Health Sciences colleges as they consider which RWJF opportunities might fit with their research funding portfolio. The presentation will also provide information for faculty working broadly in the space of health equity, racial justice and healthcare systems.
