Wouldn’t it be nice if there were an online search tool just for research funding opportunities? There is – and it’s available to the UIC campus community! Pivot-RP is a powerful tool for discovering funding opportunities from sponsors of all kinds – large and small, public and private, domestic and international. If you’re new to Pivot, this session will equip you with all the basics so you can start strong on your grant-seeking journey. If you’re already a regular Pivot user, you’ll learn a few power tips to help you get the most out of this resource. Researchers/investigators of all levels will benefit from the information presented in this session.
Because the webinar will include an interactive funding search exercise, joining via a laptop or desktop computer is recommended for full participation.
This session will focus on sponsors and examples relevant to the Fine, Performing and Applied Arts. The Office of Research Development will offer complementary sessions for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
