Whether your research is basic, applied or somewhere in between, there are likely opportunities for partnership with industry that would accelerate your progress and adoption of your research products. With so many research-active companies and types of engagement available, though, it can be challenging for an academic researcher to navigate the private sector landscape. Fortunately, there are many resources at UIC available to help researchers start (and continue) this journey. In this webinar, representatives from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Innovation, Corporate and Foundation Relations, and the Office of Technology Management will each offer an introduction to their organization and an overview of the resources they provide to UIC researchers. The session is intended to provide ideas for funding, collaboration and technology transfer opportunities for faculty from across the university looking to learn more about how to conduct research in partnership with the private sector.
