Join this brown bag lunch webinar to learn more about the federal agencies that offer competitive grant programs for research on climate change, environmental sciences, sustainability and environmental justice. During this presentation, representatives from federal relations firm Lewis-Burke Associates will provide an overview of relevant news from the federal government on available funding streams for climate-related efforts and the outlook for future funds under various political scenarios. Our speakers will provide insights on the types and timing of the various programs as well as guidance on the best way to approach each funding agency and program managers. Agencies covered will include the National Science Foundation (NSF), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Energy (DOE) and more. The presentation is intended to assist faculty from across the university working in basic and applied cross-cutting projects who are looking to secure funding for their research endeavors or to diversify by finding research funding at different federal agencies.
