The mission of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) is to provide the military forces needed to deter war and to protect the security of our country. In support of this mission, DOD funds more than $100 billion annually in science and technology research and development. In this webinar, a federal relations expert from Lewis-Burke Associates, LLC will introduce DOD research and development organizations, funding agencies, programs and strategies for interacting with the DOD agencies. Webinar participants will learn about strategies for successfully competing for DOD research funds and resources for follow-on support for future engagement plans. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. This webinar is for faculty new to DOD and for faculty looking to better engage with DOD.
