Federal Agency 101 Brown Bag: STEM

Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, a federal relations firm that works closely with the University of Illinois, Chicago will be hosting a brown bag lunch on Monday, October 4 at noon (CT) titled, “Federal Agency 101.” During this presentation, Lewis-Burke will provide an overview of relevant news from Washington, D.C., including the Administration and Congress, as well as a brief introduction to a range of federal agencies including the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Energy. The presentation is intended to provide insights into new and existing funding opportunities for early to mid career faculty looking to learn more about how to find grants from federal agencies. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation and faculty can also engage directly with Lewis-Burke following this event.
