Register now for our next professional skill-building mini-course: Communications Bootcamp for Postdocs, presented by the UIC Department of Medical Education. In this bootcamp, you will learn how to better communicate your research to a variety of audiences. Topics covered in the bootcamp include:

  • Friday, October 29th, 4-5 pm: Letting Your Work Speak for Itself: Creating and refining a multichannel elevator speech for your research, presented by presented by Alan J. Schwartz, PhD, Professor and Interim Head of the UIC Department of Medical Education

Registration is also open for the following sessions:

  • Wednesday, November 10th, 4-5 pm: A Figure (or table or visual abstract) is worth 400 words, presented by Christine Park, MD, and Alan J. Schwartz, PhD
  • Friday, December 3rd, 4-5 pm: Successful interactions with peer reviewers, presented by Michael R. Blackie, PhD, Yoon Soo Park, PhD, and Alan J. Schwartz, PhD
