Faculty will gain insights into the strategic value of awards and discover the resources available to support their recognition journey. Whether you're new to the awards landscape or looking to refine your approach, this series offers practical guidance and expert perspectives to help you navigate the path to recognition.
Session 2: UIC Panel on Faculty Award SupportÂ
This panel discussion features experts from across UIC who play key roles in supporting faculty award nominations. Panelists will share their processes, insights and how their offices contribute to UIC’s broader research and recognition goals. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the internal support available and how to engage with them effectively. The panelists include:
- Morgan Benson, Senior Director of Foundation Relations, Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR)
- Elizabeth Houlihan, Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Engagement, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs
- Rebecca Milczarek, Assistant Director, Office of Research Development, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research
The session will include a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, offering faculty a chance to connect directly with those who facilitate award nominations across campus.
