The goal of the CTO is to provide a concierge approach for the conduct of clinical trials.   The CTO will provide our research community with the tools and information required to conduct clinical trials at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Some of the services will include:

  • A Medicare Coverage Analysis;
  • Strategic budgeting guidance and planning for clinical trials;
  • Streamlined and comprehensive project submission with ORS and OPRS;
  • Centralized process for registering projects in clinicaltrials.gov;
  • Centralized process to obtain prior approval from Medicare for IDE clinical trials; and
