All Human Subject research requires IRB review by the Office for the Protection of Human Subjects.
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research has also established a Research Review Committee for Human Subjects and COVID19 to maximize safety and minimize risk of transmission of COVID-19 for research subjects and investigators/staff. Applications will be reviewed to maximize safety and minimize risk. All studies that require contact (<6 foot distance) between investigators or staff and research subjects must plan and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for these contacts to ensure protection of research volunteers and research staff.
