PDA Vision:

To continuously enhance the quality of postdoctoral experience by building a strong postdoctoral community and providing representation across the university. The PDA strives to maintain excellence with special events on topics essential for career development on and beyond academia.

PDA Goals:

  • To provide a collective voice and serve as liaison among postdocs, faculty, and administrators
  • To promote professional and social networking
  • To collect, develop, and disseminate useful information including funding opportunities, job announcements, seminar notices, and other resources
  • To provide access to effective training and career counseling

Invitation to Contribute to UIC Social Justice and Community Disparities Working Group (SJCD) Book Project

We invite you to participate in a new opportunity to share your expertise to showcase UIC’s singular efforts in research and scholarship on social justice and community disparities. This proposed campus-wide book/digital media project is led by the Social Justice and Community Disparities Working Group (SJCD), an interdisciplinary collaboration of scholars and researchers from various UIC colleges and schools.
