Request an Anticipation Account

Anticipation accounts should be requested when there is a high degree of certainty that the project will be funded. Using anticipation accounts is a best practice to minimize the number of cost transfers. The academic unit that owns the account is responsible for the costs posted to it if the anticipated grant or contract is not awarded.

To request an anticipation account, use the GC70 Online Form:

GC70: Request to Establish an Anticipation Grant/Fund - Request to Use Expired or Overdrafted Grant/Fund

  • First time users: The first time you attempt to log into the system for the online form, you will be prompted to fill out a request for access. Once this request has been approved and processed, you will be able to use the same link to log in and begin work.
